Pursuant to the Indiana Access to Public Records Act (Indiana Code 5-14-3), I am requesting the following public records:
Any reports, documents, or written materials submitted to or produced by the County Council since January 1, 2024, that were created, in full or in part, using artificial intelligence tools (e.g., ChatGPT, OpenAI, etc.).
Any communications (including emails, texts, or internal memos) referencing the use of ChatGPT or other AI tools for the creation of county reports.
Any documentation indicating that a non-county employee (specifically, a relative of a council member) was involved in drafting, editing, or generating reports or official documents on behalf of the council.
Any policy, memo, or directive permitting the use of AI tools or the delegation of county documentation tasks to individuals who are not employed by the county.
Please provide these records in electronic format. If any part of this request is denied, please cite the specific exemption(s) and provide a written explanation as required by law.
